I love that Shaw quote. Someone (whom I like and respect- no names) sent me a Twitter DM asking me to stop joking about Sandy because "people are dying." Sorry. I can't do that. Laughter is the most effective coping mechanism I have to deal with life's vicious little jokes, and I will not dispense with it.
